These terms and conditions (the “Conditions”) apply to www.RuedesPetits.co.uk (the “Website”), a company registered in England and Wales and which Company Number is 09562848, VAT number 222 4545 35. For the purposes of these Conditions, “you” shall be the person accessing the Website and “we” or “us” refers to Rue des Petits Ltd. By accessing the Website you agree to accept the Conditions. If you do not agree with the Conditions, you should not use or access the Website
- CONDITIONS OF SALE
- The following terms and conditions will apply between you and Rue des Petits Ltd. when you purchase a product/s (“Product/s”) from us. Please read these Conditions of Sale in conjunction with the Conditions of Use.
- Product Description and Colour
We have made every effort to display the colours of our Products as accurately as possible. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot accept responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. All descriptions, photographs, specifications or illustrations contained on Rue des Petits’ website are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the products described on the website and will not form part of the contract with you and no warranty or guarantee shall be expressed or implied in the contract with you in this regard.
All sizes and measurements are approximate; however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. Every effort has been made in order to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).
Your contract for purchases made through www.ruedespetits.co.uk is with Rue des Petits Ltd. and you undertake that all Products ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale. Prices displayed on our Website are in Pounds Sterling and unless otherwise indicated are inclusive of VAT. Prices quoted are exclusive of postage and packing which will be charged at the rates specified in the delivery section. Payments can be made using Delta, Mastercard, Solo, Switch Maestro, Visa and Visa Electron.
- Acceptance of your orders
Once you have checked out and your order has been confirmed you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the confirm button.
We must receive payment of the full total price for the Products that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provided in your order.
We reserve the right to refuse an order or cancel a contract. Non-acceptance of an order or cancellation of a contract may, for example, result from one of the following:
- The product ordered being temporarily or permanently out of stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment
- The identification of an error within the Product information, including price or promotion
If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. If we do refuse an order or cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your debit/credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 7 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
If we accept an order from you for a Product which is then reduced in the sale before you receive it, please contact us. We will tell you whether or not the Product has been dispatched and the following provisions shall apply:
- If the Product has not been dispatched, we will refund to you the difference between the price you paid and the then current sale price, subject to our right to cancel set out above.
- If the Product has been dispatched, then when you receive the Product, you should return it in accordance with the returns policy below requesting a refund and then re-order the Product at the sale price.
- Special Offers and Discount Codes
Only one special offer/discount code or free delivery offer may be used per order unless stated otherwise and such codes are valid for one transaction only. Special offers/discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or voucher. Special offers/discount codes are not transferable and should not be distributed to the wider public; they should not be sold on auction sites for profit or reproduced on any website. No cash or any other alternative can be given. Special offers/discount codes apply to www.ruedespetits.co.uk only, unless otherwise stated. Special offers/discount codes exclude any charge for home delivery. We reserve the right to remove or amend conditions of special offers/discount codes as necessary; this does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Special offers/discount codes for free delivery apply to the standard UK delivery service. If you are an international customer and have a special offers/discount codes for free delivery please email firstname.lastname@example.org to redeem. Special offers/discount codes are not valid for purchases made from a Rue des Petits sale or archived sale items.

- While Rue des Petits Ltd. takes reasonable steps to ensure a reliable service, we do not guarantee that your use of this Website will be uninterrupted and/or error free.
We are not responsible for your use of other websites accessed via links from our Website. Such links are not controlled by us nor do we endorse them. The Website may only be used for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the Website and any transactions on or through it.
All rights, including copyright and database rights, contained in this Website are owned by Rue des Petits Ltd. and/or our licensors. Except as permitted by law, you may not distribute, adapt, translate, modify, merge or make available our Website content to any person, or use it for commercial purposes. You may not use our Website content to create a database (electronic otherwise). All other rights are reserved.
We reserve the right to:
- modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or
- change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.
- SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
- Most orders are dispatched within 24 hours during Mon-Fri - subject to payment and stock availability. Please allow 48 hours during weekends/holidays. If any products are out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and/or phone call.
Postage and packing charges are as follows:
- Free delivery over £75
- 1st Class Royal Mail delivery = £4.95
- Once you have been emailed the dispatch confirmation, your parcel should be with you within 2 to 5 days. Additional costs can occur for large parcels .
- Next day Royal Mail delivery = £10 or £5 for orders over £75
- Standard Royal Mail delivery = £12
- Once you have been emailed the dispatch confirmation, your parcel should be with you within 5 to 7 working days. Additional costs can occur for large parcels.

- If your order is to be dispatched to a destination outside the European Union, you will be responsible for any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country. Rue des Petits Ltd. will not be responsible for these charges.
All deliveries require a signature. If you are not available to receive the parcel the courier will automatically redeliver on the next working day. If delivery is attempted and a delivery card is left and you fail to claim the parcel from the local depot or post office, we cannot refund you until the products have been returned to us. However, if you would still like the products delivered, we will re-dispatch the parcel once it has been returned to us, but there will be an additional charge for re-posting.
We must be informed of parcels not arriving as soon as possible, for the UK it must be within 16 working days from the date of dispatch. For international destinations we must be informed within 35 days. Failure to do this can affect our ability to trace the parcel and issue any refund due. Refunds or replacements will only be issued after 16 working days in the UK or 35 working days for international parcels, and only if the parcel is deemed lost in transit by the relevant delivery company.
Missing or Damaged Products
Every item sold through www.ruedespetits.co.uk is thoroughly checked for faults before it is sent to our customer, however, if the product is damaged or items are missing from your order on receipt, we must be informed as soon as possible.
We always strive to provide the best service, but sometimes we can make mistakes. Please feel free to contact us at
and inform us of any damaged, faulty or missing products from your order. If you report the problem to us under this Condition, our only obligation will be either:
- to replace any Products that are damaged or defective; or
- to refund to you the amount paid by you for the product in question.
Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the Products in question in accordance with these Conditions.
- CANCELLATION, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
- Our Policy.
You have the right under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to cancel your order at any time before delivery of the items(s) or within 7 working days of receipt of the item(s) by following Rue des Petits Cancellation, Return & Exchange procedure.
CANCELLING AN ORDER:
If you wish to cancel your order prior to dispatch, please send us an email at
. We will send you a confirmation email upon receipt of your request. Please also note that if your order has already been dispatched, you will need to follow the procedures described in the Return policy. Rue des Petits reserve the right to refuse unidentified order returns.
RETURNING AN ORDER
Should you wish to return/exchange an order you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the order by emailing
quoting your name and order number. Clearly explain why you would like to return/exchange your item(s).
Your item(s) should be returned with your original invoice/receipt within 14 days of receiving the order at your own cost (for non-faulty items). Please make sure that the item is posted back in an appropriate packaging to ensure the items do not get damaged in transit. We strongly advise that you use a signed for postal service/courier to return the item as we are unable to refund for any orders which get lost in the post, and that you keep your proof of posting documents until we confirm that we have received the item. Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted at the discretion of Rue des Petits and may only be offered as a credit voucher. Also ensure that your name, address and order number is with the product that you are sending back.
Once the item has been approved for return and received by us, we will exchange and/or refund the original payment debit/credit card for the sum paid minus postage costs.
All refunds and exchanges for goods purchased via our website or by telephone must ONLY be made by post/courier. We will share Website order returns address with you per email.
All items must be returned in a new, clean and unused/unworn condition with the original product/garment tags still attached (if applies). We are unable to offer a refund on unwanted goods purchased at discounted prices. However we are happy to exchange the item(s) for the same purchase value within 7 working days provided they are in perfect condition and represented by the original receipt. If you have requested a refund, we will credit the original purchaser’s card for the sum paid within 7 working days of receipt of the item you wish to return.
We will always endeavour to make sure that products are in perfect condition when they leave our warehouse. However, if an item that you have received is faulty or damaged, please send us an email at
within 48 hours of delivery quoting your name and order number. Clearly explain why you would like to return/exchange your item(s) and, please provide us with full details and images of the fault/damage.
EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
If you would like an exchange for a different size or an alternative item, please supply your payment details on the returns form so we can process a new order for you and refund you for the returned item(s). This will ensure a faster exchange process and delivery in the next days by Royal Mail. Postage costs at the current rates will be charged for all exchanges returned to customer. Please Note: ALL hair accessories, brooches, earrings, tights and socks are non-refundable and non- exchangeable due to hygiene reasons.
All full priced products may be returned in new, unworn and unused condition with original product/ garment tags still attached. If you have requested a refund, and it has been received and approved, we will credit the original payment card for the sum paid within 15 working days.
All unwanted goods purchased at sale/discounted items we are unable to offer a refund, however we are happy to exchange the item(s) for another sale/discounted item for the same purchase value or more provided they are in perfect condition and represented on the original receipt.
